The Iconic Ocean Isle Beach Pier

This pier has been an Icon in our area since 1957 and holds a special place in the heart of many of our area vacationers. It is ideal for fishing, sightseeing and of course snapping a quick picture of your time at Ocean Isle. Whether you take a quick stroll or catch the fish of your life you will never forget this pier.
The Kindred Spirit Mailbox
Nestled deep on an undeveloped piece of coastline lies the Kindred Spirit Mailbox. This gem has been the inspiration to a Nicolas Sparks novel and is another iconic part of the Brunswick County coastline. This mailbox is filled with dreams, hope and thoughts of those whom have visited.

By taking the last public beach access on Sunset Beach it is simply a thirty minute walk down to Bird Island where this icon is located. It's a bit of a walk to this secluded monument but it is every bit worth it.
